FAQ

What do I need to take part in Pilates?

You will need a Pilates Mat and a device with a camera which can run Zoom.
This is you can see us, and we can see you.
If you are planning to join Pilates with Props, you will need a 7" or 8" Pilates ball and a medium resistance band.

I have an injury, can I still join in?

If you have any injuries or medical conditions which are affected by exercise, we ask you to email us directly at Pilates@pomwak.com.

One of the team will get in contact with you to talk to discuss the options available to you.

How do I set up for a session on Zoom?

Here are our top tips for setting up Zoom:

1. Ensure you have enough space around your mat to avoid any collisions with your furniature.
2. Place your camera to the side of your mat so we can see your whole body when laying down but also check you can see us!

3. Switch your microphone off, this helps keep the instructor on everyones screen and helps you to focus on your own movement. 

I'm a little nervous to join group sessions!

We understand that joining an online sessions can be quite daunting, but don't worry - everyone has been in your position. 
To help you ease in to Pilates we offer 1-2-1 sessions via Zoom that will build the foundations for your Pilates practice.
